The Kolektiv Gallery is opening the new exhibiting season during which there will be organised twelve projects through five sections of the programme: new practices, 3M3, scenarh, the off program and the research work of the gallery.
Within the new practices program, the Kolektiv Gallery will exhibit the work of four architecture studios. The first exhibition, which opens the new season, will be the work of the studio Andres Jaque – Office for Political Innovation from Madrid. Also, the new practices program will also present exhibitions of architecture studios CENTRAL (Belgium), Plan Comun (Chile) and Bow-Wow (Japan).
The 3M3 program will be comprised of four exhibitions set up in the window of the Kolektiv Gallery. The authors will be selected through an open call, which can be found here, and they will develop their concepts in cooperation with the team of the gallery and the curator of the program, Marija Bjelić.
In collaboration with the Center for scene design, architecture and technology (SCEN), the Kolektiv Gallery is starting a new programme section named scenarh which will research the intersections of architecture and theatre / scenography. The first to exhibit in the scenarh programme will be made by the artist collective Diaprojektor from Zagreb.
The off program of the season 2018/2019 will consist of two activities: in cooperation with the BINA festival, the artistic collective Basurama will be presented in Belgrade, and secondly the Kolektiv gallery will organise the exhibition of the FAD awards, the annual award for architecture of Spain and Portugal.
After a very successful project about the period of Belgrade brutalism, the Kolektiv gallery started a new research project on the theme of Aljoša Josić (Alexis Josic). The first public activity within this project will be an exhibition in the Serbian Cultural Center in Paris that opens on December 13th 2018.
